Privacy Policy

Who this is

This site is operated by Matt Goes ("I", "me", "my"). You can reach me at matt@mattgoes.com.

What I collect

When you book a call, I collect:

• Your name, email address, and phone number
• Your answers to the questions on the booking form, which may describe personal circumstances, habits, and goals
• The date and time you booked, and your time zone

When you pay, my payment processor collects your card details. I never see or store your full card number.

When you visit the site, I automatically receive standard technical information: your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you viewed, and the site or ad that sent you.

Calls are recorded and may be transcribed, so that I have an accurate record of what we discussed and agreed. Recordings and transcripts are stored privately and are never published or shared. If I ever wanted to use any part of a call publicly, I would ask you for written permission first. You can ask me to stop recording, or to delete a recording, at any time.

How I use it

• To hold your appointment and send you confirmations, reminders, and the written recap
• To follow up with you by email or text after our call
• To deliver coaching you have purchased
• To take payment
• To understand which ads and pages are working, so I know where to spend
• To keep records of what was agreed and delivered

Advertising and analytics

I advertise on Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and use Meta's tracking tools, including a pixel on this site and server-side conversion reporting, to measure whether an ad led to a booking. This may involve sending Meta a hashed version of your email address, phone number, and IP address, together with the fact that a purchase occurred and its value.

I do not send your booking-form answers to Meta or to any other advertising platform. What you tell me about your situation, your habits, or your goals is never used for ad targeting, never shared with advertisers, and never sold. Only the fact that a booking happened is reported.

You can control how Meta uses data about you in your Meta account settings.

Who I share information with

I use third-party services to run this business. Each one receives only what it needs:

• Stripe — payment processing
• Calendly — scheduling and booking-form responses
• Google — calendar and video calls
• Cloudflare — website hosting and delivery
• Meta — advertising measurement, as described above
• An email and text messaging provider, for follow-up

Each of these has its own privacy policy. I do not sell your personal information, and I do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

I may disclose information if required by law, or to protect someone's safety.

Cookies

This site uses cookies for basic functionality, to measure traffic, and for advertising attribution. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking them may stop parts of the site from working.

How long I keep it

I keep booking records, call notes, correspondence, and payment records for as long as needed to deliver the service and to meet legal, tax, and dispute-resolution requirements. Payment and dispute records are generally kept for seven years. You can ask me to delete the rest at any time.

Your rights

You can ask me to:

• Tell you what personal information I hold about you
• Correct anything that's wrong
• Delete it, subject to records I'm required to keep
• Stop sending you email or text follow-ups

If you live in California, you have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. I do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising beyond the advertising measurement described above.

Security

I take reasonable steps to protect your information, and the services I use are standard, reputable providers. No system is perfectly secure, and I can't guarantee absolute security.

Children

This service is for adults. I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given me information, email me and I'll delete it.

Where your information is handled

I operate internationally and my service providers are primarily in the United States. If you're outside the US, your information will be processed in the US.

Changes

If I change this policy I'll update the date at the top. Material changes will be posted here before they take effect.
